Our Culture at RS Group

At RS Group, we continue to build our culture around our inclusion strategy, which focuses on five key priorities:
Race, Gender, LGBTQ+, Disability wellbeing and Mental health wellbeing.

Though our ambitions do not yet match what we look like today, we are working hard to change this.
We're committed to ensuring our organisation is authentically and sustainably diverse, in order to seek and embrace the very best talent who will Make Amazing Happen.

Our people are the backbone of our business and help keep our global organisation moving, so when it comes to how we work and the culture we create, our aim is to make sure each person is empowered to bring their true self to work every day.

From Simon, our recently appointed new CEO, to our warehouse distribution associates and everyone in between, we acknowledge that we are all different and have something to contribute - We're all amazing in our own right.

We don’t believe in quick fixes and acknowledge that sustainable and authentic change takes time, but we will always champion diversity, inclusivity, accessibility and representation within our culture.

  • Here are some highlights from our vibrant Diwali celebrations across the globe this month! 🌏

The festivities took place in RS Asia Pacific, RS India, and Our Nuneaton Distribution Centre.

RS India expressed their excitement, stating, "We're thrilled about the opportunity to showcase how this festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm in our office here in India and its importance to Indian culture worldwide."

We hope that everyone had a delightful Diwali celebration!

We listened to our people when they told us of their desire for a greater focus on Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) across our global organisation.

As a long term goal, we have placed diversity, inclusivity and accessibility at the forefront of our D&I strategy.

In the shorter term, however, we launched four dynamic RS Group D&I Employee Resource Groups to help support and be the voice of our people.

(EmbRACE, Elevate, Spectrum, Bloomers) that provide powerful opportunities to understand other perspectives. With regular events and networking opportunities our employee networks are an invaluable resource for supporting career development.

  • Elevate
