Brand Manager (Propositions)

Summary of the role

Following a period of change and the development and creation of the COO organisation and Marketing function the role has been created to become a collaborative and energised part of our marketing community. 

Our Marketing community need to drive customer demand and lead the coordination or our brand and customer plans across Marketing, P&SM and Sales 

Our goal is to deliver sustainable and profitable growth which is efficient in its delivery to drive down costs.

We will drive out inefficiency and cost to invest in leadership, skills and capability to drive best practice end-to-end integrated planning and commercial programs. 
 

The purpose of this role is to work closely with the wider group marketing and comms function to develop and maintain differentiated and compelling propositions. Part of the brand team and being an active member of the global marketing community. 


What you will do

  • The Marketing Manager for Proposition will take the lead on key activities and initiatives;  
  • Leads the following:
  • •    Develop and maintain product and service propositions for delivery within the IMP
  • •    Ensure that all are competitive and distinctive to drive customer preference and persuasion for RS, adjust as required
  • •    Feed local insights into the Group Marketing team to develop or refine Group Marketing Propositions
  • •    Study company products and services and translate technical details into benefits for the customer
  • •    Follow and analyse market trends to position products and services
  • •    Craft compelling visual and verbal articulation of customer propositions

 

What you will bring

  • •    Worked in a multi-national matrix organisation marketing community 
    •    Propositions experience
    •    Broad marketing experience across Social, Comms, PR, Product and Content Marketing and commercial program management
    •    Retail experience in B2B 
    •    Commercially astute 
    •    Digitally experienced
    •    Worked with the creative development process 
    •    Worked with marketing agencies external agencies
    •    Experience in design and copywriting is a plus
    •    Experience in market analysis
    •    Keen eye for detail
    •    Creativity
    •    Analytical mind and strong quantitative skills
