Job Title – Graphic Designer

Location – Corby/London/Remote

 

As a Graphic Designer at RS you will work closely with the wider brand team to support the group marketing and comms function to develop and maintain differentiated and compelling campaigns and materials for our group of brands.  As a senior member of the creative team, you will be responsible for working on key strategic campaigns to support business priorities across our group of brands,

 

You will be the owner of individual briefs, working as part of the creative team to understand and interpret the needs of requestors into meaningful concepts that tell the story of our journey, and clearly deliver the benefits of working with RS Components. You will be an active member of the global marketing community and a trusted custodian of our brands.  Where necessary, you will act as a consultant to support regions and teams when working with external partners. As the brand expert you will have the responsibility to guide on the correct usage of our brand and give your expert design perspective on all campaigns and material.

 

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manageryou will be a part of an organization that promotes personal development, growth, and career progression and who will provide you with the tools and training you need to excel in the industry.

 

What you will enjoy doing to be successful in this role

 

  • Ensuring timely responses to multi-channel campaign briefs and to develop creative concepts across various print and digital assets.
  • Working across all Digital Marketing teams to understand marketing requirements and respond with appropriate and exciting marketing designs.
  • Designing all multi-channel campaign concepts and scamp mock-ups
  • Following and applying RS Components Guidelines. Ensure the agreed brand guidelines are used correctly and consistently across all creative.
  • Utilising existing knowledge of techniques and software, develop ideas for discussion and approval, whilst achieving value through interpretation and innovation.
  • Providing print ready design for a full range of marketing communications technique including but not limited to advertisements, direct mail, email content, brochures, proposals, packaging, signage, illustration for product and corporate presentations
  • Identifying areas for improvement from a creative, quality and brand consistency point of view

 

What you will need to be successful in this position:

 

  • Hands-on Digital Marketing experience with evidence of delivering quantifiable results
  • Adobe Analytics knowledge
  • European language would be beneficial
  • Agency experience
  • Experience of brand building
  • B2B experience
  • Digitally experienced
  • Managed external creative and marketing agencies
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Designing presentations
