To create and redefine processes; recommending relevant tools, technologies, and partners to optimise the delivery of product Data and Content for new to market products and existing range. This will enable RS components to expand the product range globally, reduce time to market, and improve customer and supplier experience. The Head of Process Improvement will have additional accountability for the in-house Image Studio and the Localisation team who manage the machine translation of content to support global markets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To be a catalyst for change redefining and creating new processes and implementing new ways of working
  • Recommending appropriate and emerging technology to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ownership of global 3rd party commercial contracts value >£2million pa with responsibility for negotiating with strategic partners and the creation of SLA’s and supplier performance management
  • Accountable for co-ordinating and chairing quarterly business reviews and engaging senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Work closely with Content, Product and Digital teams to provide analysis of performance data and provide actionable insights to drive continuous improvement across PSM function
  • Accountable for the Image Studio based in the Nuneaton DC creating still photography, 360 images and video to support own brand and supplier brands
  • Responsible for the Localisation team who manage global language translations to improve customer experience and deliver SEO gains


What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • Proven CI leadership experience in a complex B2B/B2C organisation
  • A track record of delivering process improvements using Lean and CI principles

  • Deep content systems knowledge (PIM, DAM, CMS) and digital toolkit

  • Experience working in global matrix organisation
  • Knowledge of Localisation technologies (TMS, API’s) and processes
