Project Support Lead

Corby / London

As the Project Support Lead in the Corby or London office you will join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to join as you will be there to provide senior level Project Office support to the IT Technology delivery team and its portfolio of projects.  You will also support large and small projects, to ensure that the projects are adhering to RS project methodology and the quality of their work is in line with RS Delivery


What you will enjoy doing to be successful in this role

You will be supporting and advising project/ programme managers to plan their work in accordance with RS project standards and good practice. In addition to this you shall support and advise and train project / programme managers in using RS standard programme/ project management tool set


What you will need to have to be successful in this role

  • Broad knowledge of good-practice IT programme and project management (preferably supported by formal qualifications)
  • Proven capability in delivering challenging and constructive review, assurance or quality improvement activities on IT projects
  • Hands-on experience managing IT project/programme delivery (guideline 5 years +)
  • Experience supporting project portfolios in an enterprise PMO or similar in a tracking/governance role
  • Recent experience in an medium-sized IT function in a fast moving, commercially focused organization
  • Experience of providing coaching, training or capability improvement
