Reporting Analyst

Location: Corby/remote

6-month fixed term contract

 

This opportunity comes at an exciting time for Commercial Insight at RS Components, with a new structure in place we are looking for someone to help us drive our reporting capabilities forward, building & updating our ever growing suite of reports that support insight across the business, as well as ensure digital data quality & enhancing our digital support function. 
Once Power BI is available for Developers this role will also be instrumental in building all dashboards within Power BI ready for when it is launched to all users

 

What will you do

 

As a Reporting Analyst you will be responsible for building & enhancing our reporting suite across Marketing, Commercial Optimisation & Trading Ops areas as well as supporting with the Digital data quality & hands on analysis,

 

•    Ownership of Weekly updates to key reporting across Marketing, commercial optimisation & Trading Ops – to include Supplier dashboards, Commercial Programmes & Optimisation reporting
•    Enhancing current reporting to ensure they cover stakeholder requirements
•    Building new reports as requested through these areas
•    Updating monthly Domo dashboards 
•    Supporting the inbox emails
•    Weekly Digital data quality actions – such as BOT removal 
•    Once Power BI is available for Developers this role will also be instrumental in building all dashboards within Power BI ready for when it is launched to all users
 

 

What you will bring


•    Strong problem-solving skill set.
•    Experience of having worked in a multi-channel business with a heavy focus on Digital
•    Preferably experience of having worked in a B2B environment
•    Strong report building skills is preferable
•    Expertise in measuring a variety of commercial, marketing and digital activity.
•    Technical ability in tools such as AA, BO, DOMO, Excel, essential, (SPSS, R, Python preferable)
•    Keen eye for detail and ability to multi-task across numerous projects.
•    You will have a passion for data and the digital world. 
•    You will take part in requirements gathering and stakeholder management, so you will be comfortable in dealing with stakeholders of varying seniority in both face to face meeting and remotely. 
•    You will also be comfortable working in a fast-paced commercial environment and have strong communication and presentation skills.
