RS Local Managed Inventory Representative

Glasgow

 

As the Local Managed Inventory Representative based from the Glasgow branch you will join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to join us as you will be tasked with managing the ongoing maintenance, replenishment and development of RS Managed Inventory installations within customer premises. In addition to this you will build profitable sales growth through relationship management, range extension and ad-hoc purchase requirements. In branch you will work across all functions from customised solutions, customer service & warehouse management.

 

Reporting to the RS Local Branch Manager you will be a part of an organization that promotes personal development, growth, and career progression and who will provide you with the tools and training you need to excel in the industry.

 

What you will enjoy doing to be successful in this role

 

You will be working with customer stakeholders to identify growth opportunities via range expansion, product substitution or ad-hoc purchase requirements. In addition to this you will work conjunction with the RS Managed Inventory implementation team to ensure that all systems are fully functional and that correct workflows are adhered to. You would also be a brand ambassador for RS Components and ensure that customers fully understand the benefits of Managed Inventory Services.

 

What you will need to have to be successful in this role

 

  • Full Driving License
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.
  • Understanding of Managed Inventory Services.
  • Experience of working within a service/sales role with direct customer interaction.
  • Understanding of warehousing/stores management techniques.
  • IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Also desirable are experience of working within an MRO distribution environment and experience of using SAP
  • Ability to work at pace with excellent time management
