Function
Allied Electronics & Automation is seeking a Digital Experimentation Specialist to join our Digital Experience team, reporting to the Director of Digital Experience. This role will partner with Marketers, Developers, Digital Product Managers, Behavioral Experience, and Designers to identify innovative opportunities that drive key KPI’s across our digital applications. This person will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, UX Design, Analytics, Marketing, Behavioral Experience and Engineering to rapidly launch, analyze, and iterate upon experiments while also collaborating with our organisational Centre of Excellence to drive programme best practice, governance, and operational excellence. Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Consulting on the lifecycle of an experiment, which involves building, launching, analyzing, and iterating upon A/B tests to optimize growth and maximize conversions across various digital applications.
  • Responsible for building out experiments across multiple digital applications that are aimed at driving forward business objectives.
  • Coordinating and defining requirements with the Engineering Team to expand current experimentation capabilities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Finance, UX, and Analytics to estimate the business impact of experiments, evaluate technical feasibility, and prioritize an experimentation roadmap.
  • Collaborate with the Behavioral Experience Manager on delivering insights and recommendations based on test results to improve upon existing product experiences and help define requirements for new features, increasing Allied’s value to customers.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Experience and Engineering teams to 1) ideate on innovative solutions that address both user and business problems and 2) create powerful customer experiences
  • Work closely with the team lead to evangelize the experimentation program and cultivate a data-first culture by educating and empowering product and marketing teams to design high-quality experiments.
  • Partner with platform managers and engineers to help define requirements for Allied’s experimentation platform and enable testing in different areas of the business.

 

Essential Qualifications, Knowledge, Abilities and Skills

  • Experience working with a large scale/high traffic websites
  • Proven experience with conversion rate optimization, setting up and delivering A/B tests
  • Experience in full-stack and client-side experimentation methodologies
  • Hands-on experience in using Optimizely, Adobe Test and Target, Monetate, SiteSpect or other digital testing tools
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a diverse set of technical and non-technical partners
  • Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills
  • A standout teammate with high humility and integrity, helping to build a healthy and fun team environment

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related area
  • Hands on experience with Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics
  • 3 years of technical product management or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of collaborative work with marketing teams on acquisition and reacquisition related efforts
  • Experience with front end development including CSS, HTML, Code Debugging, Javascript, Jquery.
  • Ability to code experiment variations and audience definitions.
