We pride ourselves on the great working environment that we’ve created at Allied, where our employees can make a difference in the lives our customers, we can move fast, experiment when needed, can operate with autonomy and where everyone is focused on doing the right thing for the customer.

Allied is undergoing a digital transformation and we’re looking for the right people to help push us forward.  We practice the Scrum methodology to facilitate quick and easy delivery of value for the customer, both internal and external.  And no Scrum team can reach full potential without an exceptional Scrum Master.  Reporting to the Director of Digital Experience & Customer Acquisition, the Scrum Master works with the Scrum team on a daily basis, facilitating and guiding through each sprint. This individual acts as a conduit to the rest of the organization for the team and the process, communicating and educating to develop an organizational culture that supports and celebrates Scrum, in which the team can thrive and continuously deliver value to the customer.

Above all, the Scrum Master is a servant leader of the Scrum teams and the organization in the adoption, education, and continual improvement of the principles and practice of Scrum methodology.  At any given time, this individual may be a coach, a teacher, a problem-solver, a decision-maker, a motivator, a communicator, a listener, an analyst, a mentor, and just about anything else the situation demands to facilitate progress.  The Scrum Master is the glue that holds the team together and the grease that keeps the wheels turning.  They must be as ready to have the hard conversations as they are the easy ones, pursuing what’s right for the team and the organization, all while upholding the Agile principles that guide us.  Nothing about this role is easy, but for the right person the rewards of doing it make it all more than worthwhile.
