Global Senior Commercial Pricing Analyst


The aim of this role is to optimise our margin performance and it must be based on a foundation of strong data capture and analytics from leading pricing, marketing and sales professionals.


The successful candidate will be an advanced analyst with skills using Excel, PriceFX, Power Query, Qlik, PowerPivot. Power BI to help developing and modelling financial proposals and solutions for our internal customers in Pricing, Sales and Marketing. With a commercial mindset, he/she will help bringing innovation and creative solutions to enable successful outcomes within a fast paced and ever-changing environment.


He/she will be part of a global team so the ability to communicate and build strong relationships across different time zones with different cultures will be critical to the success of this role.


What you will enjoy doing to be successful in this role 


  • Working closely with the Pricing, Sales and Commercial functions to review, understand needs and help develop financial proposals and tools which reflect customer requirements whilst identifying the most competitive pricing and margin optimisation opportunities.
  • Supporting the creation of innovative data driven solutions
  • Maximising profit by helping margin processes
  • Developing new, more targeted and efficient margin optimisation practices
  • Communicating methodologies to a global audience
  • Maintaining existing and newly created tools


What you will bring to be successful in this role




  • MSc in Engineering, Statistics, Physics or other related disciplines
  • From 1 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in Pricing, Margin optimisation and Data Analytics fields
  • Strong knowledge of analytical systems and software; ERP (SAP or similar), SPSS (or similar). MS Office 365 suite and experience of Web analytics packages (such as Adobe, Google Analytics or similar)
  • Good Influencing and relationship management skills
  • Strong ability to interpret data
  • Experience in programming (preferable)
  • Degree in Sciences (preferable)
  • Ability to shape and implement discount strategies (preferable)
  • Excellent English knowledge and fluent knowledge of one or more languages including Italian, German, French and Spanish
  • Planning and organisation skills to support the management of multiple objectives in line with expected delivery times
  • Adaptability to cope with changing priorities and manage multiple tasks and activities
  • Ability to respond to challenging deadlines and to work in a time critical environment
  • Ability to work across geographic boundaries and to build strong relationships
  • Excellent influential skills to all level of the organisation up to senior management, in a cross functional capacity in respect of the need for high quality customer and contact data to deliver business objectives
