Internal Sales Executive I, Australia

Job Purpose:

Identify business potentials by providing effective coverage to the contact base. To achieve and exceed monthly territory sales revenue target, as set by the Area Sales Manager. This involves generating sales turnover growth in line with the achievement of Company budgets and agreed KPM primarily Sales and Gross Profit Margin.


Key Areas of Accountability:
1. Work closely with the team for territory development.
2. Ensure that customer and end-user requirements relating to perceived product value are understood and assist in the translation of this information into advantaged product and sales strategies
3. The targeted number of successful calls should be planned, attempted and achieved each working day.
4. To achieve effective territory coverage through the planning of sales calls to contacts within the framework of the customer call plan, achieving call frequencies consistent with the level of current or potential sales revenue.
5. Accountable for gathering competitive information from customer and market feedback and communicating it to the Sales Management.
6. To plan effective sales calls by having pre-call planning utilizing support information. Call planning should encompass relevant product presentations, confirmation of RS service experience. Commercial information of relevance from the customer and market feedback must be communicated to the Sales Management.
7. Complete sales task with the planned contacts, ensuring their buying authorities and internal purchasing procedures are understood.
8. Effectively set objectives of call, record outcome of the sales task on the Contact Notes on the same day as the call, plus updating the weekly sales report on a daily basis. Complete all other sales and general administration work in a timely and professional manner.
9. Accountable for maintaining effective communication with all internal and external support services to ensure their commitment to the attainment of the sales and financial growth objective.

10. Maintain and develop professional selling skills through participation in Company trainings, self learning, or double working with the Sales Engineers.
11. Communicates fully with superiors and others who have the need to know. Be informative without being obtrusive or vexatious. Communicate in a way that is timely, yet prompt; complete, yet- precise; candid yet accurate; and clear, yet responsive especially when it involves sales and sales related matters
12. Search for new business opportunities in existing accounts through the identification of new contacts. Follow up on all sales leads in a timely and effective manner. To research on their customer profile and identify further opportunities.

13. Internal Account Executive are to ensure their assigned contacts obtain a copy of our RS catalogue & webiste. Therefore, all records should be reviewed regularly and amendments made to the customer database in the format laid down by the company.
14. To ensure all reports are on time and accurate.
15. To drive sale through digital by increase online sale channel.


Communications and Working Relationships with Key Internal & External Customers:
Internal Customers:
Country Manager, Head of Corporate Account Manager, FN,CS and other stake holder  


External Customers:
Elite Account customers of RS Components Co.,ltd  and other external support organizations.


Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
• Qualification in Bachelor’s Degree,
• Preferably with at least 2-3 years of experience relating to Sales, Telesales, Customer Service experience.

 •Good in English skills.

• Excellent in Interpersonal and communication skills.

• Enjoy doing direct sales and/or talking to customers over the phone.
• In-depth knowledge of the services and product range.
• Understanding of RSVP, Company Structure and responsibilities of other functional support areas.
• In-depth understanding of all marketing / sales-related internal and external data bases and reports.
• Energetic and outgoing personality is an advantage.
• Able to work under pressure for meeting sales targets.
• Committed, aggressive, result and target-oriented.
• Proficiency with personal computer and  SAP knowledge is an advantage
