WELCOME TO RS BENELUX

We are the distributor for industrial customers and suppliers who design, build and maintain industrial plants and equipment. We operate in 32 countries, including the Netherlands and Belgium, and process more than 20,000 orders for various customers every day. Our aim is to be the first choice for our customers and distributors. We do this online, but with the human touch. So customers can always speak to someone in person, via phone, mail or chat.

LIFE AT RS

RS Group is headquartered in London, but we have a local office in Haarlem. We work hybrid, meaning we work in the office some days a week and everyone has the option of working from home the rest of the days, to achieve the best possible work/life balance. RS Benelux currently employs more than 70 people across Belgium and the Netherlands, from Customer Service and Sales to Marketing and Technical Support.

We highly value cooperation, communication and openness. Everyone is allowed and able to be themselves and is encouraged to do their best: 'Bring your true self to work' is our motto! RS strives to be an inclusive organisation. For example, women make up more than half of the senior leadership team and we have many cultural backgrounds among our employees.

OUR TEAMS

  • Customer service: We believe that human contact is essential, our customer service team helps our customers via phone, email and chat. 

    Sales: Internal and external sales together with CS. They maintain long-term relationships with our customers to help them grow and take full advantage of RS's services and products.

    Technical support: For technical advice on our products, our customers can contact the heroes of the Technical Support department.

  • Back office: For everything that needs to be arranged behind the scenes for the smooth processing of orders.

    Marketing: Which campaigns are running? How much traffic is there on the website? Which supplier are we highlighting? These are some of the questions our marketing team deals with. 

    Finance: How are RS Benelux's finances doing? Are all invoices paid on time? They monitor invoice flows and contact customers who have outstanding items.

  • Product and Supply Management (PSM): Keeps in touch with our key suppliers. Which products does RS sell and at what price? Together they determine pricing, discuss the product range and, in collaboration with the marketing department, determine any marketing campaigns. 

    Support teams: In Benelux, we have a number of people who support the day-to-day operations, for example Office Managers, HR staff, Data Analysts and Operations staff. They ensure that our teams can do their best work every day.
