WE ARE RS SCANDINAVIA

Welcome to RS Scandinavia! We are 80+ employees across three locations in Denmark (Copenhagen), Norway (Oslo) and Sweden (Gothenburg) - with headquarters in Copenhagen. We are a Scandinavian team that prioritises collaboration, works towards our common goals and cultivates our way of working: One Team, Passion and Accountability. We have room for everyone - the phrase "bring your true self to work" says it all.

With access to our global range of industrial products within electromechanics, electronics, mechanical products as well as tools, test and measurement equipment, safety equipment and much more, we serve more than 20,000 customers in Scandinavia with the goal of making everyday life easier for our customers. We want to be the first choice for our customers and through dialogue we find the right solution.

LIFE AT RS

If you're considering joining RS Scandinavia, you've come to the right place, so read on. You'll be an important part of an exciting and dynamic company where we believe that it's our people that make us unique. We play well with each other, work closely together in teams and enjoy working together both professionally and socially. In fact, in our surveys, our employees share the view that good colleagueship is an important part of being an employee at RS Scandinavia.

RS cultivates a high performance culture where recognising and celebrating success is part of everyday life. Individual achievements are naturally recognised and rewarded by both colleagues and managers. Communication and openness are high on the agenda, so we utilise the full range of communication channels.

  • Community

Social activities, led by our Staff Association, foster relationships at work and beyond. From parties, theater trips, and sports to Friday bars and more, there's always space for new ideas. Our annual kick-off blends professional development with a vital social aspect. Monthly breakfasts, a Christmas lunch, the DHL Relay Race, rooftop terrace lunches, step-counting, and more bind us together.

  • Flexible Working

Our goal is to be a great place to work, and we recognise that we are all different. That's why we try to accommodate different needs and offer a flexible workday. This means that everyone working from the Copenhagen office can choose to work from home two days a week. On Thursday, we have chosen to have a 'shared day' at the office - we've done this to cultivate a sense of community and culture and to ensure we see each other.

  • Financial Wellness

... we all know this, and RS wants to help and provide a safety net. We offer a good pension scheme and health insurance in the event of an accident, so our employees can quickly return to a safe everyday life. If the eyes get tired in front of the screen and the need for glasses arises, we cover the purchase of these.

In addition, we offer staff purchases at very favourable prices, and all employees are always welcome to take advantage of our company agreements on e.g. hotel and car rental.

LOCAL TEAMS

  • Sales

We like to say that 'we're all in Sales', but that being said, we do have colleagues dedicated to our customers. We work in pairs, which means that a defined geographical area in Denmark, Norway and Sweden is supported by an Internal Key Account Manager (from the Copenhagen office) and a Key Account Manager (on the road).

We are pleased to present ... 🥁 (drum roll) - our new Sales Director, Kim Schrøder, who joined us in 2023.

  • Customer Service

We believe that human contact is essential, which is why we have a large customer service department that helps our customers by phone, email and chat. Our Customer Service Executives advise our customers, follow up on orders and generally ensure that the customer journey is a good experience.

  • Technical sales

It is important to us that our customers get the right solution - regardless of the size of the customer, product or solution. Our Technical Support Engineers are ready to advise you by phone, email and chat.

  • Marketing and Finance

In Marketing, creative minds work on tools that support sales - be it newsletters, trade shows, campaigns and presentations, and of course, customised for each market.

Our local finance department, properly labelled 'Accounts Receivable', has a keen eye for detail and it's here that we help customers with questions about their outstanding balances.

What a day in Copenhagen 🙏🌍! 50 #amazing colleagues recently collected waste and made the streets in our neighbourhood cleaner.  We are proud of our new concept, which we have dubbed 'waste collection relay'. The keyword is #oneteam - 8 teams, 30 minutes each and more than 50 kilos of waste collected 💪 Yesterday was the first, but certainly not the last waste collection relay...

Happy faces 😁 - we celebrated Earth Week 🌍 recently with a Bake Sale. Lots of delicious home-baked cakes (yes, that's right - home-baked...) from our leadership team (thank you 🙌), and every penny goes to The Washing Machine Project.
