Supplier Manager, Scandinavia

The Supplier Manager, Scandinavia is part of the wider Product & Supplier Management organization and executes the agreed common EMEA category strategy on a local level. This includes developing and leveraging local supplier relationships, focusing on the strategic suppliers in first priority, qualifying new suppliers. Main objectives include achieving targeted profitable growth, customer acquisition, market share growth and ROI.

The Supplier Manager will work in close collaboration with the sales organization.

 

This role constitutes an important part of the market intelligence of the group category team providing market trends and insights as well as customer needs, insights and feedback.

 

In this position you can work from any location in Denmark.

 

 

 What you will enjoy doing to be successful in this role:

 

  • Developing the partnership and the relationship with our strategic suppliers in order to become first choice
  • Developing and executing of supplier business plans in line with the agreed common EMEA category strategy
  • Local sourcing within agreed corridor of terms
  • Managing of supplier expectations in line with our objectives and category strategy
  • Collaborating across the regional product teams and achieving of suppliers KPI’s

 

What you will bring:

 

  • Successful track record in supplier or account management or related discipline
  • Hopefully a background within distribution, wholesale or from a manufacture
  • Technical product affinity
  • Knowledge of Automation- and/or Industry related products will be an asset but is not a must
  • Business planning and execution capability
  • A collaborative team player across a business with fast moving, customer driven markets
  • Successful supplier relationship management
  • Strong commercial acumen and broad communication skills
  • Excellent English and one of the following languages: Danish, Swedish or Norwegian is a must
