 Make an impact as an Agile Team Coach

Working directly with individual teams you will facilitate the team/s to perform at their best. As part of the wider Agile Practice community, you will actively ensure that agile values & principles are at the heart of everything we do both at a department level and the wider enterprise. 

As an Agile Team Coach, you will: 

  • Support continuous improvement by using data to increase visibility, effectiveness & predictability and work with the team to identify and address anti-patterns
  • Protect the team so they can be focussed on their goals
  • Ensure impediments are anticipated, addressed, owned & resolved by yourself or the team
  • Create a safe environment and constructively manage conflict in the team
  • Drive for a level of self-organisation and autonomy within the team 
  • Use appropriate styles & techniques of facilitation to guide the team to appropriate outcomes from events / ceremonies and various interactions

We’d like to talk to you if you have: 

  • Certified Scrum Master or equivalent Kanban accreditation e.g. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM). Significant experience of being a Scrum Master or Agile Team Coach.
  • Interpersonal & relationship building skills, be able to work across functions, geographies and cultures 
  • Demonstrable experience of facilitation in the context of an engineering team and other groups within an organisation  

It would be desirable if you have:

  • Demonstrable experience of other agile & engineering practises such as Kanban, Lean Start-up, Lean UX, XP, DevOps ) 
  • ICAgile Agile Team Coach or Enterprise Agile Coach accreditation
  • Experience of working in a complex, dynamic & cutting-edge engineering environment 
  • Experience of working in a Digitally driven environment
