IT Project Manager

Corby / London

As the IT Project Manager in the London or Corby office you will join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to join as you  will take responsibility for delivering key IT projects within RS, which may include working as part of a larger programme of works.

 

  • You will take responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful completion of projects, directing and counselling project team members, and advising internal and external stakeholders as necessary on all phases. In addition to this you shall ensure that realistic project, quality, and risk plans are prepared and maintained for the project. Also you will monitor and control team performance against plans.

 

What you will need to have to be successful in this role

 

  • Experience of delivering projects across a wide variety of areas, including EUC, Networks, Cloud, Distribution/Warehousing, service, digital.
  • Experience of delivering Infrastructure Projects, including data centre relocations, migration to cloud.
  • Experience of delivering Application Projects, including SAP.
  • Good grounding in working across multiple 3 party outsourcers.
  • Good grounding in traditional Project Management governance practices.
  • Good grounding in Agile and Waterfall Project Management processes.
