Night Shift - 

 

Monday to Wednesday: 20:30 – 06:30

Thursday: 20:30 – 04:00

 

Our huge warehouse in Corby is one of our most valuable assets, because of that it needs constant care and attention to keep running.

With that in mind, our technicians are considered some of our most valuable people and we want you to join our maintenance team as a well-rounded technician who can keep the ball rolling.

 

What will you be doing?

Our goal is to deliver zero downtime, zero accidents and 100% customer order fulfilment, and you will help us deliver this by:

 

Providing preventative, reactive and continuous improvement (project) maintenance services including inspection, diagnosis, repair, calibration, improvements and upgrading of control equipment and handling equipment.

 

Your other responsibilities include:

 

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure work is being carried out correctly.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
  • Record and document activity and try and improve fault-finding capability on repetitive faults.

 

As always your work must be completed in line with health & Safety guidelines and process.

 

 

What do you need to be successful?

 

You will need to have experience as a maintenance technician, ideally in a Distribution, Supply chain, FMCG or Manufacturing environment.

 

This is going to need someone who is a multi-skilled engineer.

 

You will also need to have the following:

 

  • A recognised qualification, apprenticeship or time served experience as a maintenance Engineer/Technician.
  • An Electrical qualification to work with 3PH 400V circuits.
  • Experience with MHE equipment, electro-mechanical systems and detection equipment.
  • An understanding of legal compliance in a maintenance environment including COSHH & PUWER.
  • Ability to interpret electrical, pneumatic, mechanical and PLC drawings.
  • General skills using Microsoft Office packages.
  • Experience working alone and as a member of an effective team.
  • Flexibility of working hours and processes.
