Market Delivery Manager – Inventory Solutions

An exciting opportunity has opened within our EMEA Value Added Solutions team.

This role requires strong execution skills as you are sharing accountability for the successful delivery and growth of RS Value Added Service Solutions into defined EMEA markets. You will work closely with the Head of Product Management & Delivery and senior market stakeholders to build and execute a Value-Added Solutions roadmap with partner markets, focusing on the ongoing growth of existing service solutions and importantly the establishment of new, EMEA-wide capabilities such as Inventory Solutions.

 

You will ensure that markets understand and are ‘bought in’ to the delivery roadmap for inventory solutions and will support them with subject matter expertise to build and execute their local plan.  This will ensure markets know how to define and recruit required resources, adopt technology systems and adopt/develop business processes to deliver a consistent customer experience and commercial business model.

 

You will also work with the wider EMEA VAS team, Digital and Technology functions to ensure that product roadmaps and development activities in relation to eCommerce solutions are effectively communicated into market stakeholders. We hope you will develop a strong commercial understanding of customer needs, competitor environment and overall market commercial landscape., using this knowledge to inform market stakeholders and collectively deliver against execution plans that drive sustainable profitable growth.

 

Success will come from:

  • Collaborating with market and regional and group functions to deliver industry recognised best practice project installations, including an acceptance into service framework that provides support for ongoing implementations & service issue resolution.
  • Supporting partner markets build and scale new and existing profitable capabilities through structured project planning, operational excellence, and commercial governance.
  • Collaborating with the broader EMEA VAS team to deliver new go to market materials into markets including sales presentations, case studies and technical value calculators.

 

What we are looking for from you:

  • An all-rounder, someone who is commercially and operationally savvy. Someone who is a lateral thinker and a self-starter.
  • A proven with a track record of managing operationally focused teams in a process centric environment.
  • Solid experience of establishing operational, customer implementation and technical support processes in relation to managed service and digital propositions.
  • You shine as an effective coach and collaborator, influencing other teams to take personal ownership & responsibility.
  • An appreciation of digital procurement methods such as PunchOut, Electronic Ordering, Electronic Invoicing, and web order management tools would be great!
  • A second language, particularly German, would be a huge advantage.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support the product manager to develop new and existing services capability.
  • Supporting the markets services teams to develop their go to market approach and the scale services across their customer base.
  • You will support the sales organization through coaching, training, and guiding them through complex bids.
  • Manage and execute CI projects to ensure that our services are continuously developed to provide best in class experience for internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will also manage a broad range of senior stakeholders in market including, services, sales, operations, finance and logistics to ensure they are aligned with our services strategy and competent in delivery on their part.
