This is a virtual role and can be based in Denmark, The Netherlands, Poland or United Kingdom.

 

 

As Head of Product & Supplier Management, rest of EMEA you will bring together all P&SM activities for Benelux, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. You will set the tone for our business and create the best in class inclusive culture, inspiring and giving our people new and exciting opportunities to grow in a global organisation.

You will lead and coordinate the commercial P&SM teams in delivering sustainable and profitable sales and market share growth across the region.  In this role you will not have any direct reports but will be part of a leadership team.

 

As a leader you will operate as a key member of the leadership team   – working collaboratively with sales and product function to deliver value, efficiency and effectiveness.

 

 

What you will enjoy doing to be successful in this role:

 

 

  • Lead, manage, motivate and inspire a multi-disciplined organisation of accredited procurement & supplier management teams across EMEA region
  • Elaborate and execute strategy to achieve RS Components objectives at pace and through risk management with the local and EMEA team
  • Drive customer acquisition through suppliers and optimise the customer and supplier experience. Develop the capacity to engage our strategic suppliers on transferring customer to us
  • Have a broad and deep understanding of the market, supplier and competitor landscape, supported by the local P&SM teams
  • Identify and work with a wide range of stakeholders to execute projects and strategy
  • Work in a collaborative manner with suppliers to increase brand penetration in the customer base and gain market share

  • Proven track record of sizable sales growth in a complex, matrix business environment
  • Demonstrable ability to serve as a successful participant on a leadership team that provides growth mindset around leadership and direction to increase market share
  • Demonstrable ability to challenge, build credibility and work with integrity at all levels within the organisation to influence behavioural changes and development of skill sets for the future business needs
  • Ability to be a successful mentor, coach and leader for high-performing teams
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills and working across functions
  • Cultural awareness and experience of working in a complex matrix organisation
  • Experience of working in multiple product, technology solutions environment such as distribution, retail or wholesale or another business services sector
  • High level of commercial acumen
  • Ability to impact and influence in a matrix organisation
