Proposition Marketing Manager

The purpose of this role is to deliver marketing propositions for Italy to add economical value to the Italian business.  Working with the local and wider marketing communities to deliver best practice marketing and deliver valuable ROI to the Italian market.


Reporting to the Head of Marketing Italy, the successful candidate will be a core part of our local marketing community and will help to set the tone for greater alignment and consistency across our marketing teams.



What you will enjoy doing to be successful in this role 


  • Adapting and adopting from Group propositions, or develop locally as required, all marketing propositions for delivery within the local marketing plan
  • Analysing our product and service propositions and consumer insights
  • Shaping and communicating our vision and mission
  • Translating our propositions into plans and go-to-market strategies
  • Leading creative development to motivate our customers to “take action”
  • Measuring and reporting performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs
  • Monitoring market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities
  • Overseeing new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities
  • Monitoring customer reactions
  • Devising innovative growth strategies
  • Managing local budget
  •  Feeding local insights into the Group Marketing team to develop or refine Group Marketing Propositions


What you will bring to be successful in this role


  • Experience in a multi-national matrix organisation marketing community
  • Hands on digital and performance marketing experience
  • Broad marketing experience across Social, Comms, Product and Content Marketing and commercial program management
  • Experience in B2B products industry or B2B retail
  • Ability to develop brand and commercial programs and communicate recommendations
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective commercial programs
  • Understanding of the full marketing mix but likely to lead specific areas
  • Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
  • Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers
  • Commercial proficiency
  • Cross functional team leadership
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Knowledge of the latest trends and marketing best practices
